Board of Inquiry
Railway Safety Regulator’s (RSR) Board of Inquiry / Investigation Protocol (BIP) is a standard protocol for the composition, convening and execution of the duties required by the BOI in accordance to section 38.(2) and 38.(3)(a) of The Act. The BOI shall at all times comply to the stipulations of the protocol and exercise the rights given thereto by section 38.(5) and 38.(6) of The Act judiciously. Further the Protocol stipulates the actions and duties of the RSR in support of the BOI.
