NIIMS NextGen replaces the legacy NIMS platform with a secure, user-friendly, and scalable solution that supports more efficient interactions between the RSR and rail operators. The system will automate key regulatory processes, strengthen reporting and monitoring capabilities, and provide enhanced analytics to support informed decision-making.

NIIMS NextGen marks an important step in the RSR's digital transformation journey, enabling safer, more efficient, and more responsive regulation of South Africa's rail sector.
